I promised my Weimaraner friend Easy (http://easyweimaraner.wordpress.com/) that I would post a picture of another Weimaraner we saw when we were doing some promotion for Greyhounds as Pets (GAP) New Zealand in October last year. So here is the photo – and a few more from the event, which was called “Brits at the Beach”. We had a wonderful time, and it was a fun day out.
There were over 300 dogs at the event – this is the only Weimaraner we saw 🙂
Mum has no idea what any of the cars were. Dad liked them, though… 🙂
Me and Dad posing in front of, well, a car… 🙂
Aah, that’s better. Forget about the cars – what about gorgeous ME? 🙂
Hey, Dad, let me go! I see something there…
Ooooh! It’s a… it’s a… dog!
It’s a very friendly tiny dog! This is fun! 🙂
AHA! I’ve heard Mum talking about “breed recognition” and I’m proving it now. I’ve just spotted another greyhound! WOOHOO! 🙂
This is Cruz. He’s a big, handsome boy. He lives with Sharon and Pete and the beautiful Lettuce. Way back before I came to Mum and Dad, Sharon and Pete did the home-check for my Mum and Dad to make sure our garden was going to be safe for me. Lucky for me – they said ‘Yes!’ 🙂 Cruz is looking a bit worried here…
Sharon, with the beautiful Lettuce… 🙂
This is me meeting Pete for the first time. I was playing it cool… 🙂
This is me and Lettuce, getting to know one another. She was pretty foxy! 🙂
Here we are: me, Lettuce and Cruz, doing our stuff advertising Greyhounds as Pets NZ, looking gorgeous! 🙂
Don’t you think my Union Jack bandanna looks smart? 🙂
Pete with Cruz and me 🙂
There was a really tall man at the event. I was amazed! His head was nearly in the clouds!
This is us all in the show ring. Sharon had the mike, and was telling all the people about the work that Greyhounds as Pets does, and what wonderful pets we make. I felt very special, with lots of people looking at us, and clapping and smiling.
This gorgeous girl only had eyes for handsome Cruz… 🙂
Here’s Mum with Cruz, me and Lettuce, at the end of a brilliant day! 🙂
When we left the event, we hopped across the road and went for a nice walk along the beautiful beach… 🙂
I hope you’ve enjoyed visiting “Brits at the Beach” with me. Bye for now! 🙂
