A walk through the village…

It was a warm evening, and I didn’t want to pad along the unshaded road to the beach, so we opted instead to walk through the village. Mum (as is her wont when she gets a camera in her hands) took lots of photos. We thought we’d share them with you…

And, yes, I WAS there while Mum was taking all these photos! I am such a patient boy!

  1. You certainly live in a lovely place mate. We could do with a bit of your sunshine right now! Deccy x

    • Thanks, Clowie. It’s nice to stroll around the village in the evening (which basically means going up the road and then back down again!) – and Mum usually finds something to photograph – if she remembers to take the camera! I like lying on my settee. Mum thinks it’s her settee, but of course, she’s mistaken…

  2. Ohhh, I wish I had an extra week before I have to start the academic year, I’d LOVE to head back to your little town and see you again, Solo.

  3. I like your place – specially your gorgeous plants. Thanks for sharing this beautiful pictures with me. I love your last picture – your smile is just adorable – who can resist you?

    • AWWW…. Easy I’m pleased you like Mum’s photos. Specially for you, Mum’s going to post a picture of a Weimaraner we saw when we were doing a GAP (Greyhounds as Pets NZ) promotion last year. 🙂

    • Hello there – thanks for dropping by! Yes, we’re very lucky living in such a peaceful place… I’m glad the pic of me made you giggle – that’s the (toned-down) Greyhound Grin). 🙂

  4. hello again Solo, wow! What a wonderful place you live in . Worlds apart from the place that I am. It must be so so peaceful. Thank Mummy Mo for the “Walk through your village’ I really enjoyed it.. love ‘Ann the human’

  5. I wonder if my scribe would take me with her on a trip to visit you and New Zealand? It looks very interesting – lots of things to sniff at and mountains to climb! BTW, Solo, my scribe says you have a beautiful collar – she says it makes you look fresh from a mediaeval tapestry. I’m not sure what it means, but the way she looks when she says it is making me feel a bit jealous!

    • Hello, Stella – what a gorgeous looking girl you are! 🙂 My Mum (who is also a scribe) says you and your scribe would have a wonderful time visiting New Zealand, which is very beautiful. Thank you for the compliment about my collar – there are some very beautiful martingale collars made for greyhounds. I’m trying to pressure Mum into buying me a second one. Dad says I don’t need two collars (what would he know!) but I think Mum is wavering… 🙂
